Day 01 Airport / Polonnaruwa
Welcome & assist by Visit in lanka.
Our Chauffer guide will pick you at the airport and transfer to Polonnaruwa
On your way, you’ll stop by the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage to get your first introduction to Sri Lanka’s most celebrated inhabitants.
After your visit to Pinnawala, continue to your hotel in Polonnaruwa, check-in and spend the rest of the day

Day 02 Polonnaruwa
After enjoying breakfast start a safari to Wasgamuwa National Park
The center of the attraction is herds of elephants up to 150. The best time to enjoy the sight of large herds is during November to May. In the rest of the year the elephants tend to migrate to nearby Minneriya and Kaudulla national Parks.
Other wildlife includes Purple faced langur monkeys, wild boar, sambar and spotted deer, buffalo and rarely sighted leopards and sloth bears.Among the reptiles are water monitor, mugger crocodile, estuarine crocodile and python (Python Molurus).

Day 03 Polonnaruwa/ Kandy
Today you will Leaving to lush green jungle Kandy – the Hill Capitol of Sri Lanka and the last stronghold of the Sinhalese Kingdom.
Visit spicy garden En-route
Check in to the hotel
Once you have had a chance to catch your breath, pay a visit to the Temple of the Tooth and join the Buddhists who, dressed all in white, offer puja while catching a glimpse of the sacred tooth relic of the Buddha.
Spend the evening in the city center, close to the temple, watching a performance of Traditional Kandyan Dance with its vibrantly colorful dancers and musicians. The Kandyan Dancers are as unforgettable as they are iconic

 

Day 04 Kandy
Awake on your fourth day in Kandy and spend your morning exploring the city and walking around its beautiful, centrally located lake. Before you move on from the city center, visit the vast collection of sumptuous flora at the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. The extensive, vibrant collection of orchids, exotic palms, and herb gardens here shouldn’t be missed.

Day 05 Kandy / Nuwaraeliya
Breakfast at the hotel Proceed to Nuwareliya.
En-route Visit Ulapane bridge, Tea Plantaions ,
View Ramboda falls
Visit Strawberry farm
Arrival in Nuwaraeliya check in HOTEL.

Overnight accommodate at the hotel in Nuwaraeliya.
Day 06 Nuwaraeliya
Afternoon take a walk in Nuwara Eliya town to photograph British built bungalows and buildings in the town,
Town bazaar and market followed by visit to a Tea estate with a factory tour and tasting pure Ceylon tea. Sightseeing in Gregory lake , nuwara-eliya , Victoria park
Visit Seetha Amman Hindu Temple Related to Ramayana

Back to hotel
Overnight accommodate at the hotel in Nuwaraeliya.

 

Day 07 Nuwaraeliya / Yala
After a civilized day in the tea country, you may be ready to explore the island’s wild.
Today you will descend the hills and head south to the dry-zone and into Sri Lanka’s most gratifying wildlife reserve, Yala National Park by 4×4 jeep.

Day 08 Yala / Mirissa
After enjoying an early breakfast, with a camera full of wildlife photos, today you will head out of the jungle and into the charming town of Mirissa, one of Sri Lanka’s most alluring sea-side retreats.
Arrive at your hotel, check-in and spend some time at leisure.  After a busy week of traveling, you’ll enjoy the slow pace of this fort town as you reflect on your last night in Ceylon and watch a last glorious sunset over the Indian Ocean.

 

Day 09 Mirissa
After Breakfast
Day excursion to Galle – 1 hour drive
Visit The Stilt Fishermen in Galle, age old traditional way of fishing by sitting on a pole fixed to the shallow bottom of the sea where the fishermen sit to make their daily catch.
Lunch at Galle Dutch fort restaurant .
Walk in Portuguese built Fortress in 1500’s and it’s ramparts. Galle Fort is now home for many Boutique hotels and this is an architectural masterpiece. You can see many coffee shops, roadside bars, cafes and antique shops.
Discover madhu river by boat in the evening : Embark in Balapitiya,Visit Turtle Farm,
Back to hotel .
Dinner and overnight stay Mirissa.

 

Day 10 – Mirissa/ Colombo
Transfer to Colombo – 2.5 hours drive
We will pick you up at the hotel in the afternoon or evening.
Proceed to colombo
Tour will begin from the Fort area of Colombo which has been named fort because of it being a fort during the times of Portuguese and Dutch. Later we will take you to Colombo National Museum to see some of the great specimens of arts crafts and archeology of Colombo
Check in in to the hotel.

Day 11 – Colombo / Airport
For departure – 40 min drive approximately
Transfer to the Airport in Time to check in for your departure flight back home with all the memories of the pearl of the Indian Ocean that is Sri Lanka
