Day 01 : Route – Airport to Sigiriya
Drive Time – 3 Hrs

Meal Basis – Breakfast
Arrive in Sri Lanka in the style you deserve, greeted by your chauffeur guide and transferred directly to Colombo – the island’s urban center where your journey begins.
Proceed into the quiet green inland to explore Sigiriya and the island’s ancient highlights of the Cultural Triangle.
En-route , visit Munneswaram Temple. It is believed that Munneswaram is a significant historical place in Sri Lanka and predates the Ramayana. Sinhala, Hindu, and Buddhist devotees worship by this historical temple.
Lord Rama after his victorious battle left for Ajodhya in one of Rawana’s Vimanas. He felt he was being followed by a Brahmaasthi Dosham as he had killed King Rawana who was a Brahmin. Whilist passing over this Chilaw area, Rama noticed that the Brahmaasthi Dosham was not following him. He stops the Vimana at this juncture and asks God Shiva for a remedy. God Shiva blessed Lord Rama and advised installing and praying for four lingams, as the only remedy to get rid of the Dosham.
Proceed to Manavari. Manavari is the first place where Lord Rama installed the Shiva Lingam and prayed after the end of the war with King Ravana. This Lingam is Ramalingam because it was made by Lord Rama. Apart from this, the Lingam in Rameshwaram is the only Lingam in the world which is named after Lord Rama. After visiting these historical places continue to your hotel in Sigiriya, check-in and enjoy some down time.
Depart in the late afternoon around 3:30 pm to see the sun set from the island’s most spectacular sight – the 5th century rock fortress of Sigiriya.
Return to the hotel and spend the rest of your evening at leisure.

 

Day 02 : Route – Sigiriya to Trinco
Drive Time – 1.5 Hrs

Meal Basis – Breakfast
Soon after the breakfast, you will be taken to Trincomalee.
Trincomalee is a major sea port in Srilanka. This place consists of Tamil speaking community for about two millennia.
Lunch is from outside Restaurant. Thiru Koneshwaram, is a rocky paradise built by Saint Agasthiyar on the instruction of Lord Shiva. This is the very place where Lord Rama sought the redemption from Lord Shiva for Killing Ravana who was a Brahmin.
Later move on to Kanniya Spring, which is a famous hot water well in Srilanka. There are about seven springs each ranging from 3-4 depth and the temperature varies from one spring to other.

Day 03 : Route – Trinco to Kandy
Drive Time – 3.5 Hr

Meal Basis – Breakfast
Soon after your breakfast you will be taken to Kandy en route Matale- Spice garden.
Kandy is a hill capital, which was once a commercial and administrative hub of Srilanka rulers.
Now Kandy has come under world heritage site. It has lots of Buddhist monasteries,
temples and other relics worth seeing. Have lunch in the outside restaurant. After this proceed to Temple of Tooth. Temple of Tooth is the most sacred Buddhist onument in Srilanka. This sacred temple was built in the year 4th century.
This temple has the tooth of Lord Buddha, which is considered to be priceless and most sacred. In the evening you can enjoy the varied cultural retreat at Kandy cultural centre.
Both the traditional and modern art forms of Srilanka are showcased to the viewers. Over Night stay hotel- Kandy.

 

Day 04 : Route – Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
Drive Time – 2.5 Hrs

Meal Basis – Breakfast
After an early breakfast, today you will travel up those verdant green hills that surround Kandy and venture further into Sri Lanka’s most beautiful and magic region – the Hill Country – proceeding to the quiet town of Nuwara Eliya
Visit Anjaneear Temple (Hanuman) in Pussellawa (Ramboda) while driving through tea plantations. The Sri Baktha Hanuman temple on this hill of Ramboda where Hanuman was searching for Sitadevi, Chinmaya Mission built this temple with Hanuman as the presiding deity. The image of Lord Hanuman is 16 feet. This particular temple build recently and the area surrounded by beautiful mountains, water falls and landscape.
Also visits the Sitha Amman Kovil (Temple) in Nuwaraeliya. Sitha Eliya Temple is located about 5 km away from the Nuwara Eliya Town. According to legend the temple is believed to mark the spot where Sitha, was held captive by her abductor, King Rawana.
With its cool air, magnificent waterfalls, and thriving tea culture, the enchanting allure of these hills has to be seen to believe. Your family will clacketty-clack through dark tunnels on winding tracks, past tea bushes trimmed by regular picking that look like green sculptures stretching up and down the misty hills as far as the eye can see.
Arrive in Nuwara Eliya greeted by your chauffeur guide and continue to your hotel to check-in and enjoy some time of leisure.

 

Day 05 : Route – Nuwaraeliya to Colombo
Drive Time –  Approx 2.5 hours

Meal Basis – Breakfast
After breakfast Leaving to Colombo:
City tour visit the markets and bazaars of Pettah, Shopping, visit in the National Museum, visit Wolvendaal church, National Zoo (if interest) the Town Hall, Cinnamon Gardens and the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall.

Visit , Anjanayer Hindu temple and Gangaramaya Buddhist temple in the Evening

Day 06 : Route – Colombo to Airport
Drive Time –  Approx 30 Min
